Hermana, Resist #6: In My Defense On Being Inside you'll find witty and not so witty pieces on being a zinester, a distro owner; having to defend myself on being an activist & feminist; activism rooted in love. you'll read about my guilt at not attending my grandmother's funeral in Mexico; vaginas and The Vagina Monologues, Kayne West & white privilege; Christmas trees and burning towns; domestic violence in the lives of people of color and gay & lesbian relationships; data on domestic violence; speaking in Tongues and Gloria Anzaldua; a basic overview of the VAWA (Violence against Women Act) program. This is the zine you want if you want to know more on the process of making your own zine. It's pocket sized and very handy. Send submissions via email, either in text in the body of the email or attached in .txt format to csdistro (at) yahoo.com.
In the subject enter submission, followed by the zine title. Include a brief bio, your mailing address, website if any. Mention your zine or any upcoming projects you'd like mentioned. Email any photos, artwork in the same format. If you want to submit something via snail mail, email me and fill me in on the details.
