Hermana, Resist 5:
Under the Yellow lights
(Noemi Martinez)
Living in the Rio grande valley, the holidays & new year's, renewal and winter, being hungry, numbers, the working poor, obligations, Durham-a sea of nice white crisp whiteness, elite hipsters, cubicles, revolution-when it meant something to me and a primer on racism- - and so much more.

Hermana, Resist #2
(Noemi Martinez)
Journal entries, revolutionary/ spanglish/ political poetry, including the scene-shattering, backstabbing spoken word piece scene, which caused many a things to be said about Noemi and the piece revolt revolt revolt. Talk about dreams and dream worlds, sex dreams while pregnant; sex while pregnant; River; a short story, part of a novel and more.
a quote:
I have beautiful words too. I have words beside hate and rage. I have other words besides racism, sexism, fuck, fill in the blank.
What are the viable options to this? What will you listen to? Why should I TRY to entice you? If there are 26 ways to say the same thing, which one should I use? Is it up to me to decipher it for you?

$2.00. (Covers are different)
